STATE ADVOCACY

The Oregon State Legislature, the Higher Education Coordinating Commission, the Office of the Governor and other state agencies significantly impact post-secondary education. The PSU Advocates’ statewide advocacy is focused on expanding state financial aid, funding for colleges and universities, and student-centered policy development.

FEDERAL ADVOCACY

PSU’s federal advocacy is currently focused on expanding student aid through the expansion of the Federal Pell Grant program. We are currently advocating to double the maximum annual Pell Grand award to help more students earn degrees. #DoubleThePell
